Frequently Asked Questions

What is 4 for 4?

4 for 4 is a simple daily tracker designed to help you focus on four priorities that matter: Pleased God, Used Gifts, Served People, and Paid Well.

Does 4 for 4 require an account?

No. There are no logins, accounts, or sign-ups.

Where is my data stored?

Your entries are stored locally on your device. 4 for 4 does not send your data to any server.

Will my data sync across devices?

Not in the current version. Because your data is stored locally, it remains on the device you’re using.

Can I export or backup my entries?

At this time, exporting is not included. If you use iPhone backups (iCloud or Finder/iTunes), your app data may be included depending on your device backup settings.

Why are some days red or partially colored?

Colors are designed to show progress at a glance:

  • Red indicates incomplete progress for that day.
  • Green outline / more green indicates greater completion.
  • Each of the four priorities contributes to the day’s overall completion.

Troubleshooting

My progress didn’t save.

First, force close and reopen the app. If the issue continues:

  • Make sure your device has available storage space.
  • Update to the latest version of iOS and 4 for 4.
  • Restart your iPhone.
The calendar view looks off or the wrong month is showing.

Verify your device date/time settings:

  • Settings → General → Date & Time → enable Set Automatically
I reinstalled the app and my entries are gone.

Because data is stored locally, uninstalling the app may remove stored entries. If you restore from a full device backup, your app data may return depending on your backup method.
